They’ve done it again! Only this time, they’ve expanded their winning ways to the world championship level. Mindstorms Mayhem, the All Saints Academy Robotics Team, are just back from competing at the First LEGO League World Festival in St. Louis. The RI State Champs spent three days sharing science and culture with 80 teams from around the globe. The highlight of their trip, winning First Place in Presentation! That’s right, the team of six was honored as the world’s best presenters of their research project. Way to go Danny, Alden, Alex, Charlie, Regan and Xavier – not to mention Mrs. Brouse and the dedicated parent volunteers! Read all about it in the May 1st edition of the Newport Daily News.
